The Core Team of Engineering International...

Jeff Tidyman, P.E.

Jeff’s passion for helping others, solving problems, and improving communities is woven through every part of our firm.

Through his experience in the United States Army Corps of Engineers, his service in Iraq with the Marine Corps, his various international engineering projects, and his well fought bid for a seat in the Nebraska Legislature, Jeff understands first hand the value of hard work, dedication to the cause, and staying true to his word.

Under Jeff’s fervent leadership, our firm has steadily grown from a modest operation to a thriving organization that employs an experienced team of professionals.

When Jeff is taking a break from managing your project, you’ll find him spending quality time with his wife, Patty, and their three young children- Sage, Henry, and Hope.

Richard Burton, AIA

Unlike most architects, Rich started his experience with three years of commercial and residential construction. His hands-on knowledge of building materials and methods has provided the foundation for his continued success.

While obtaining his Masters of Architecture in San Diego, he was awarded the American Institute of Architecture Gold Medal by the Henry Adams Fund. During his experience with other firms, Rich took personal responsibility for 100 million dollars worth of construction as a project manager.

With over twenty years of experience, his vast knowledge of Architectural design, building code, and various project complexities, as well as being budget minded, thoroughly round out the design side of our firm.

Matthew Clause

Matt’s background in complex project management brings an expert level of strategic planning, organization, cost control and technical knowledge.

Within his previous career experience, Matt utilized his diverse skillset to lead a team of over 35 wellness team employees who traveled all across the United States conducting health screenings for small- to large-sized companies.

Matt exhibits exceptional skill in Information Technology including the high-level hardware and software utilized by our firm.

Through diverse design and construction experience, Matt has developed an impressive ability to take any project from needs analysis to conceptualization, into design and development, and straight through to completed construction.

Dale Schilke

Dale’s desire to bring conceptual design ideas to reality is an invaluable asset to our team. Before achieving his dual Masters of Architecture and Masters in Construction Management from Washington University in St. Louis, Dale worked for an Architecture firm in Omaha for three years. During this time, he learned instrumental skills in construction documents, cost estimating, product considerations, and construction administration.

During graduate school, Dale found coordinating good design with meticulous construction documents paramount to a quality project. After school, he established his own firm, BlockShop, with these design principles at its core. He provided clients with creative design solutions, detailed drawings and informative 3D models.

Dale displays a remarkable ability to provide tangible results to any design problem while anticipating the feasibility of every decision. His eagerness to produce quality concise drawings aligns with the objectives of our design team. By interspersing work experience with education, Dale has discovered a close relationship between professionalism and a boundless exploration of design.

Patty Tidyman

Patty gets the credit for keeping the day to day functions of our office under control. When she’s not overseeing the company accounting, making sure projects are staying on budget, and helping manage the flow of communication, you’ll find her consulting with our clients on the various design needs of their project. Whether it’s furnishings, paint color coordination, or flow and function considerations, Patty’s knack for visually enhancing spaces is invaluable.

Patty’s eagerness to help others, improve the world around her, and make everyone feel valued and important only serves to enhance the culture of our team and the service of our clients.

Patty’s job doesn’t end when she leaves our firm. As Jeff’s wife and mother to their three little ones - Sage, Henry, and Hope - Patty’s calendar is never empty.
